Orchard's principals are experienced private equity investors with over 60 years of combined investing experience, and have been involved in a wide range of successful growth businesses across diverse industries.
Phil Collins co-founded Orchard Holdings Group. Prior to Orchard, Phil was a Managing Director of McCown De Leeuw & Co., a middle-market private equity investment firm in New York City and Menlo Park, CA. Phil started his career working for private investment pioneer Carl H. Lindner, Jr., then Chairman, CEO and Founder of American Financial Group, a diversified financial services and investment company, and as a consultant at McKinsey & Co.
He was appointed in 2016 by Governor John Kasich to the Board of Trustees of the University of Cincinnati, where he also serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee of the University's $1.3 billion endowment, Co-Chair with his wife of the University's Bicentennial Commission, on the Board of Trustees and formerly Vice Chair of the University of Cincinnati Foundation and on the Lindner College of Business Dean's Advisory Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Harvard Business School Club of Cincinnati and as a Section Chair for the Harvard Business School Annual Fund and the Campaign for Harvard.
Phil has an MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School and graduated summa cum laude from the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati.
Pete Boylan co-founded Orchard Holdings Group. Prior to Orchard, Pete was a Director of Swander Pace Capital, a leading consumer sector private equity firm in San Francisco, CA. Previously, he was a Vice President of Brazos Private Equity Partners in Dallas, Texas. Pete began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at NationsBanc Montgomery Securities, then continued with the Montgomery founders at Thomas Weisel Capital Partners in San Francisco, CA.
Jason Roudabush joined Orchard Holdings Group in 2012. Prior to joining Orchard, Jason was an Associate at Linden Capital Partners, a leading healthcare sector private equity firm in Chicago, IL. Previously, he was an Associate in Piper Jaffray’s Middle Market Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Jason began his career with Legg Mason in the Fixed Income Capital Markets Group.
Jason has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in both Finance and Management Information Systems, graduating magna cum laude, from Miami University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Josh Holzman joined Orchard Holdings Group in 2016. Prior to joining Orchard, Josh was an Associate at Trive Capital, a middle-market private equity firm in Dallas, TX. Previously, he was an Analyst at Harris Williams & Co.
Josh has a BSBA in Finance from The Ohio State University.
Kevin Jackson joined Orchard Holdings Group in 2016. Prior to joining Orchard, Kevin was an Associate for Chase Capital, where he focused on the origination and management of junior capital investments. Previously, he was an Analyst in the Commercial Bank of JPMorgan, where he underwrote corporate loans for middle market clients.
Kevin has a BS in Finance and a BA in History, with honors, from The Ohio State University.
Carol Alf joined Orchard Holdings Group in 2012. Prior to joining Orchard, Carol was the Director of Finance and Accounting for Neyer Holdings Corporation, a real estate development and merchant banking company. Previously, Carol was a Business Analyst for RA Mueller, Inc., a whole sale distributor/manufacturer’s representative of fluid handling products. Carol began her career with Barnes Dennig & Co., Ltd., a regional accounting firm in Cincinnati.
Carol has a BSBA in Accounting from Xavier University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Kelley Konieczko is an Executive Assistant at Orchard Holdings.
Kelley Konieczko joined Orchard Holdings Group in 2015. Prior to joining Orchard, Kelley was an Operations Manager for The Normandy Group. Previousy, she was a Purchasing/Facilities Manager for ConstructConnect.
